Art Comes Alive in Lake Geneva

Get ready for an extraordinary celebration of artistry, music, and local history in downtown Lake Geneva from May 15-19, 2024. Gallery Lake Geneva is proud to present the inaugural "Art Comes Alive" event, bringing the community together through vibrant public murals, live performances, sidewalk artists, and much more.

The centerpiece of this five-day experience will be five talented mural artists working day and night to create large-scale masterpieces throughout the downtown area. Beginning at 10am on Wednesday, May 15th, watch in awe as blank walls transform into stunning visual stories honoring Lake Geneva's rich history and iconic scenery.

But the art doesn't stop there! Local boutiques will host gallery nights displaying works from area artists. Theatre and art students will take to the streets, recreating paintings through live performance art. Sidewalks and parks will become open-air studios as painters create and sell their works right before your eyes.

Soak in the creative energy with live music performances providing the perfect soundtrack as you stroll through this artistic mecca. Refuel at the pop-up beer garden featuring local brews and entertainers. Or join a yoga session in the park to find your inner zen amid the vibrant surroundings.

As day turns to night, keep the celebration going at the alleyway dinner party. Sip on creative craft mocktails as you dine surrounded by the illuminated murals. Families can also look forward to a full slate of kid-friendly activities.

This is your chance to watch art come alive and experience the truth behind Pablo Picasso's iconic words: "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." Don't miss this one-of-a-kind event in beautiful Lake Geneva from May 15-19.
