Winter in Lake Geneva transforms into something truly spectacular during the annual Winterfest celebration, and this year promises to be unforgettable. From January 28 through February 1, 2026, the shores of Geneva Lake will come alive with artistic wonder, winter activities, and community spirit.

America's Snow Sculpting Invitational

The crown jewel of Lake Geneva's 31st Annual Winterfest is America's Snow Sculpting Invitational, where 15 incredibly talented artists from across the United States and beyond will gather at Riviera Plaza and Flat Iron Park to create breathtaking sculptures from massive blocks of snow.

Beginning Wednesday, January 28, you can watch these skilled artists work their magic, transforming plain snow into intricate works of art. The competition culminates on Saturday, January 31, but the sculptures remain on display through Sunday and beyond—staying as long as the weather allows. Best of all, Winterfest is completely FREE to attend and view, making it the perfect winter outing for the whole family.
